Felecia Maxfield-Barrett

Felecia leads Utah Global Diplomacy as the President & CEO with twenty years of experience in government and nonprofit administration. Her prior work history includes the Refugee Services Office with the Department of Workforce Services, Utah Refugee Coalition, and Wasatch Community Gardens.  She has a Bachelor's degree in Anthropology with an emphasis on storytelling and ethnography and a Master's degree in Public Administration with an emphasis in nonprofit leadership both from the University of Utah. Felecia has extensive experience in oral history and storytelling, and she believes through capturing stories, we can create a sense of self, explore the world, organize and pass knowledge on to others, and create a shared humanity.
