He also served in the Office of International Affairs at the U.S. Department of Energy and was responsible for developing private-sector corporate participation in critical energy infrastructure programs. Upon leaving the State Department, and working with the Institute of International Education (IIE), and the American Arab Chamber of Commerce, Chaz founded the U.S. Arab Leadership Program (USALP), a non-profit program aimed at promoting business opportunities and intercultural exchange. These rich and rewarding experiences inform his unique approach to real estate, and contribute to his success in engaging with clients locally, across the country, and around the world.
Chaz began skiing in Park City and Deer Valley in the mid-1980s while living in Los Angeles and had been coming ever since to enjoy the amazing beauty of this year-round resort. In 2016, his partner was offered a tenure-track university position in Utah, and Park City and Salt Lake City became their new home. Chaz embraces all aspects of this incredible mountain paradise, including skiing, mountain biking, and snowshoeing.
