Visiting Delegation: Volunteerism & Civic Engagement

Utah Diplomacy is delighted to welcome an International Visitor Leadership Program on Volunteerism & Civic Engagement, a delegation from countries around the world.

While in Utah they will:

• Examine the impact of volunteerism in U.S. communities and how volunteers are inspired to foster a culture of service, civic involvement, and responsibility;

• Learn about best practices in volunteer recruitment, retention and management;

• Encourage mutual sharing of information to further voluntary initiatives among international NGOs;

• Explore the effectiveness of social media in volunteer efforts; and

• Experience volunteer opportunities alongside American citizens of all ages and backgrounds.
