"We had an impressive group from Japan dining with us who were here learning about how they can better support immigrant communities. Once I learned what they were here for I thought we should invite friends who have their own story about migrating to America for dessert. It was amazing how much laughter was shared and tears were shed. What an amazing intercultural experience that nobody will ever forget!
