Fiston Mwesige

Originally from the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Fiston is a leader, advocate, and very involved in the refugee community in Utah. He is passionate about helping others thrive and is especially drawn to youth who have had to face challenges in life. He is the founder of Umoja Generation, a nonprofit that provides support for refugee students and families. Fiston works as a Prevention Specialist at the Rape Recovery Center, and speaks seven languages.
